Senior Developer (2019 - 2023)My time at pathfinders really expanded my user experience aspect of my skillset. I had the opportunity to learn under our creative directors the importance of tuning in the small details to make a large impact on our projects.
Initially my role was to tackle many of the API and backend data integrations such as communications to salesforce and other custom databases. Over time my role expanded to include working hand in hand with designers to develop a user friendly experience.
As a Senior Developer part of my duties I look forward to the most is mentoring our junior developers.
Orange Marketing Group
Junior Developer (2013 - 2014)This work was an internship turned full-time. Working here I was exposed to many PHP frameworks such as Drupal / Wordpress and our proprietary cms built-in Codeigniter. I also had the opportunity to learn the basics of server setup.
DreamCo Design
Full Stack Developer (2014 - 2019)At DreamCo Design I was able to get my developer legs under me. My primary responsibilities were to develop Fantasy Sports websites as well as Dating Sites. In order to do this we used a custom Codeigniter PHP framework.
I was lucky to be able to launch 10+ Fantasy Sports websites with custom coded featured like auctions, chat rooms, payment processing and more. Several of these sites I later converted to IOS applications.
DraftPrize
CTO (2015 - 2016)With exposure to the fantasy sports world my former employer and I took on the endeavor of launching our very own fantasy sports competition company called DraftPrize.com. This was a great learning experience for me to see the business side of the software world. My responsibilities here was to manage all of our companies digital needs as well as setup advertising campaigns to increase our user base while monitoring the success of our spending on all platforms.

Market Draft is a site where people can test their skills in the market by competing in games where each user gets a budget and depending on the contest specifications can trade in the market to make the most profit. This project required us to connect to payment providers, setup user registration, connect to market data APIs and much more.

Our company's website is an area we are in the process of improving upon but during my time I was able to establish several landing pages and bring the content to life. We accomplished this by adding more colors that work with our brand standards and incorporating motion to drive more interaction and ultimately more leads.

Abonmarche's website served two main purposes. Firstly they needed a place for people to submit plans for and bid for construction projects. The second was to generate leads for their company. This company was an architectural engineering firm so having a clean and professional website was key to generating leads.

Transhield's website be it somewhat basic was another opportunity to learn more about product-specific websites as well as the legal aspects of web development. This client works hand in hand with the government on many projects so this dictated how we display some information. We also connected customers to a CRM with this website.
